are some amazing health benefits to the WALKFIT™ program! With one simple activity you’ll be working 90%
of the muscles in the body, including your legs, arms, back, abs, shoulders and
core. Not only will you burn 46% more
calories than you would by regular walking – you’ll be doing it in a fun and
social setting! Keith
and Jenn partnered earlier this fall and started the first ever WALKFIT™
program in the city combining the urban walking program with the run
clinic. It has been a fabulous
success. There has been an overwhelming
response to this WALK for WELLNESS campaign as we are all on the road to heath
and wellness together at NSA. The
Urban Poles which are used for this activity are unique in design as they have
no straps…a rubber based tip and a functional handle system that allow great leverage
when you are poling as the drag and push motion engages your core….reinforces
posture and give you a powerful workout.
So many people are recognizing the benefits from poling…from elite
athletes to high school students to seniors….you need to try it to believe it… POWER
…. PASSION… PRIDE…. is the motto for our
WALKFIT program. NSA –
