CLINICS:
Tuesday Night: A new year is starting and
so are our Tuesday Night Clinics, beginning January 19th @ 6:30pm! There is a
clinic for everyone, including walk fit, intro to running, intermediate, and

Triathlon: Are you looking to try something new this year? Do you want to
properly train for a triathlon? NSA’s Triathlon clinic starts February
7th, 2010 and is for beginners who hope to finish their first
sprint distance triathlon at the North Shore Spring Triathlon (750m swim, 20k
bike, 5k run) May 24th, 2010. Click here to

Trail: The Mountain Madness trail clinic is back!!!! Get a kick start on your training by continuing
throughout the winter in preparation for the 10th annual Dirty Duo Trail and
Mountain Bike race on March 13, 2010! The clinic starts Sat Jan 16th
and meets at NSA on the first day. The Intermediate clinic trains for the 15
km race. The Advanced clinic trains for the 25 km race. You do not need to
ride in this race; the mountain bike is an option. Click here to

NSA In the Community:
Streetfront is a program for under privileged youth in East
Vancouver. Trevor Stokes, program creator, has trained and lead 11 youth to
full/half marathon finishes. This program has been a huge success and Trevor
would like to acknowledge the wonderful support his marathon training program
has received from North Shore Athletics (supplying shoes and technical gear

TransRockies Run Info Night, Jan 11th:
North Shore Athletics is proud to announce a TransRockies Run information
night. Local North Shore participants from 2009 will be there to share
stories and videos. A one time special offer will apply for this evening
only, consisting of $200 off your 2010 TRR entry and a $100 gift certificate

Race Profile: Fat Dog 100 miler

race like no other. Here she is introduces us to Fat Dog 100, occurring July
23rd-24th in Manning Park, B.C. There are 3 different
